The World Health Organization recently completed a study that ranked the U.S. # 29 among healthiest nations. This statistic is startling considering the U.S. is equipped with the best doctors, the best hospitals, the best universities, the most modern technology, and the list goes on. On July 26, 2000 The Journal of the American Medical Association reported that, according to Johns Hopkins, medication errors are the third leading cause of death in the U.S. Traditional medicine should be reserved for treating fractures and serious injuries. Surgery should only be used as a last resort.
